Elias Thorne
Founder & Woodworker
After burning out in the tech sector, Elias retreated to build furniture. His need for a physical barrier between himself and his phone led to the first Stillwood lock box prototype.
We started with a simple realization: the modern world demands our constant attention. We built Stillwood Supply to provide tangible tools for reclaiming focus, one analog moment at a time.
Stillness is not the absence of activity; it is the presence of intention. We lost that intention somewhere in the endless scroll.
The idea for Stillwood Supply did not come from a boardroom. It emerged during a week spent entirely off-grid, surrounded by dense pines and absolute silence. Without the hum of notifications, time stretched out. Thoughts completed themselves. Focus returned organically, not as a disciplined chore, but as a natural state of mind.
We realized that disconnecting required more than willpower—it required alternatives. Physical objects that command attention through texture, weight, and craft. That led to our first lock boxes, milled from solid timber, and our analog planners, bound with heavy paper.
A framework for trading artificial urgency for rooted presence.
We believe in making distractions harder to reach and deep work easier to start. Our time-lock boxes introduce intentional physical friction between you and your devices.
Pixels disappear; ink remains. Writing on heavy paper engages sensory memory, forcing you to slow down and commit to the thought before moving to the next.
Environment dictates habit. Through our curated off-grid cabins, we provide architecture designed solely to facilitate analog living and complete rest.
A small collective of craftspeople, retreat hosts, and reformed hyper-connectors dedicated to the analog life.

Retreat Director
Clara designs the sensory experiences at our off-grid locations. She ensures every cabin is stocked with dry firewood, heavy blankets, and an absolute absence of Wi-Fi routers.
When a screen is smooth and friction-less, physical objects must carry weight and texture to anchor us. We source raw, imperfect materials that demand to be felt.
Whether you have questions about the materials in our analog tools or want to check availability for our off-grid retreats, our small team is here. We check messages twice a day to maintain our own focus.
